Where Did Time Go ?

It's been nine years, my child,
since you soared to the skies.
And with the coming new year...
Tears constantly fill my eyes.

I don't want to be so unhappy.
But it's all I can feel.
No Mom should ever bury her child.
But I buried you still.

It's once again that time of year.
Families will gather in love.
Children's laughter fills a home ...
Your laughter comes from above.

As I take the time to enjoy New Year's Eve,
know, precious one, you're with me.
As I see the fireworks to say the new year is about to begin
I shall miss you for all eternity.



For it's been nine years since you left.
And, Oh I still miss you so.
No matter how much time has passed ...
I think ... Where did the time go?
