Hello Mommy
It's me, your little angel...
I am very sorry for leaving so soon,
But, Mommy, he needed me, way up high,    past the stars, over the moon.

For I'm one of God's most precious children.
I am his now.

Often you feel ashamed for missing me
Because you think that others should not see.
You think you must always be strong
For you're the mother,
More powerful than any other.

But it's ok mommy, you can cry sometimes.
You can have your dreary days.
When you wish I would have stayed.
For it is not selfish in the least.

You just miss me... that's ok.
As time passes your heart will mend
There will be many important events for you to attend.

Karim will grow
The sun will shine brighter
And your sorrows will feel much lighter.
And I promise that I'll still be there directly by your side.

And so when you need some extra help
A hand to hold
Someone to walk with you through the cold
Call to me
You know where I'll be

You'll feel my presence.
